If you’re like me, you might set goals and then realize you made excuses or got too distracted to consistently work on them when life got busy. My happy snowman here and a cold smoothie don’t really seem to go together at first glance, but it was a reminder that it’s never too late to add back in healthy habits. It’s been 6 months since I started working on this website, yet here I am in January 2022 finally hitting the launch button! It’s ok if it took about 6 months to get back into my smoothie routine too.
So, about this picture. I keep him at work all winter and everyone always finds him so cheerful. His light doesn’t work anymore, so I cut off the usb cord and decided it’s still desk- worthy. Even though we’re having some of the coldest weather in a long time, I really enjoy cold smoothies as they are an ’easy win’ for me nutritionally. Those tight clothes after the holidays were also a motivator to get back in the groove of lighter eating. I was pleasantly surprised how tasty and filling this was. It has been a hectic start to the new year, but my cheerful snowman and some good smoothies, along with prayer, are just the encouragement I need.
I look forward to following God’s nudging to actively seek Him and share whatever is lovely with you, despite my inconsistencies. Cheers to 2022! Deb
